Forecast Discussion
Due to areas of dense fog this morning, the National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement. The fog is expected to gradually lift between 8 and 10 am.
We will see some cloudier skies today due to the approaching system, this will also open us up to a chance for rain this afternoon and evening. This will become more widespread overnight tonight, and a thunderstorm or two is possible. We are under a Marginal (1/5) Risk for severe weather for this system.
As the showers and thunderstorms exit, we will see a decrease in cloud cover throughout the morning Friday and our last look at the 60s for the foreseeable future. We will have a cool off this weekend and next week as Sunday we will start a trend of highs in the 30s and low-40s once again.
