Snow will likely be widespread Saturday evening but will push out of the region by early Sunday morning. The National Weather Service continues to keep Athens County under a Winter Storm Watch from Saturday afternoon into Sunday afternoon. Please stay vigilant for slick roads, especially bridges and overpasses, and drive cautiously during this time. Thankfully, this will lead calmer conditions back into the state by Sunday, but temperatures will remain chilly through Monday. Temperatures could remain in the teens on Sunday and just barely pushing past 20 on Monday. Make sure to bundle up if you have any outdoor plans this weekend.
