Forecast Discussion

There is a decaying midlatitude cyclone located in Canada to the north, which will bring some chances of scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. If there are any storms, it will not be severe. A low-pressure system to the south with an associated upper-level shortwave trough will move northeast and continue rain chances Friday night into Saturday morning. Afterward, an upper-level ridge will provide subsidence and sunshine on Sunday and Monday as high pressure settles in at the surface. High temperatures will soar into the mid-80s to start the work week, so make sure to enjoy it!
