Forecast Discussion
High pressure continues to build in behind the cold front as an upper-level ridge nudges its way into the region. For tomorrow, however, temperatures will remain cold ahead of the building ridge, with sunny and calm skies but only a reading in the low 40s to show for it. Warm air advection will begin working its way into the region with this ridge Saturday, as southerly flow begins to take hold and allow temperatures to soar back into the 50s. However, the next system will begin working its way into the region for Sunday, bringing an end to the calm conditions and reintroducing the chance for rain and maybe even some snow on the system’s backside.
