Forecast Discussion
The Storm Prediction Center has issued a marginal risk (level 1/5) for severe thunderstorms for this evening. Storms could possibly have strong to damaging winds and some hail. Stay tuned to Scalia Lab and NWS Charleston for updates and storm alerts.
Tonight, showers and thunderstorms continue to push through the area before dissipating before Sunday morning. Easter Sunday will be mostly cloudy, but still fairly warm and dry. These conditions will continue through Sunday night before another low pressure system brings a cold front through the region and increases chances for showers and storms through the day on Monday. These storms are not expected to be severe at this time, but keep an eye out for any updates. Looking ahead, we have a couple warm and sunny days on Tuesday and Wednesday before another chance for rain arrives Thursday evening.
