Forecast Discussion
A ridging pattern stretched over the Eastern side of the US will continue to pull warm humid air up from the South and into Southern Ohio. This warming trend will continue over the next couple days as this Jet Stream ridge remains dominate. A low pressure system in the Great Plains will start moving East and will push slight chances of rain into the area on Wednesday night. As this low pressure system continues to move Northeast it will move a cold front into Ohio. This cold front is expected to reach Athens Friday night and into Saturday. It will bring a drop in temperatures for Saturday and Sunday, putting high temperatures back into the mid-80s.
