Forecast Discussion

High pressure will remain dominate in the Southern Ohio area over the next 36 hours. This high pressure will keep conditions calm and mostly sunny. A cold front will then begin to replace this high pressure system early Thursday morning. This cold front will cool temperatures off slightly for Thursday putting high temperatures back into the mid 70s. It will also bring chances of rain showers into the area on Thursday morning as the front quickly passes through. Thursday evening, high pressure will immediately move in behind this cold front and will clear up the skies for Friday and most of Saturday. Looking into the weekend evening thunderstorms are expected on Saturday as well as slightly warmer temperatures as winds shift and moist air is pushed up from the south.
