A marginal risk (level 1 of 4) of excessive rainfall is in place today. If we see any showers and thunderstorms they could be heavy at times and could cause some flooding in places, so be cautious if this comes to fruition. 

Another hot and humid day is in store today. Upper 80s and low 90s with dewpoints into the 70s will make it feel disgusting outside, so be careful and mindful of yourself when going outside today. Drink plenty of water and stay inside as much as you can. Our saving grace with the heat will be in the shape of a cold front that will move through the area, today through tomorrow. This could bring some scattered showers and thunderstorms to the area and thankfully cool us down for Friday. Temperatures should be in the 70s and lows down to the low 60s.

Looking at this weekend into next week, it looks like we could see another slight warm-up before another system comes through Sunday into Monday cooling us down into the 70s once again.
