Today, Athens is expected to be hit with yet another cold frontal passage system in a squall line formation. These particular kinds of storms usually bring along some unpleasant weather, and even possibly a chance for thunderstorms. Overall, showers are likely so make sure to bring an umbrella! Otherwise, cloudy skies will persist and after this system passes through, decreasing clouds will most likely result. Overnight, partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies will keep us in the dry.

Fortunately, this weekend looks promising. Although temperatures will not fully recover into the nice, comfortable mid-seventies that we’ve experienced this week, no precipitation is expected. Temperatures will remain mild – in the low sixties with sunny and partly sunny sky coverage. On the horizon, Monday temperatures are expected to recover, but there is a chance of frost in the morning due to a cold, overnight low!
