After a wonderful week of Spring-like temperatures, Mother Nature reminds us we are still in February. Today, expect highs in the mid and upper 40’s. We are expected to stay dry the the majority of the day but a piece of energy from the Great Lakes region is anticipated to arrive overnight with light rain to start, then eventually all snow by Sunday morning. Sunday itself will see much lower temperatures in the mid 30’s. Snow squalls look to be common through the afternoon and early evening. These aren’t expected to accumulate much due to the warmer ground temperatures but strong bursts of snow can hinder visibility while you’re out on a commute. Drive with caution. Also to note is Sunday will be a little windier as potential gusts could make it up to 15 mph. Dress appropriately for potentially blustery cold air.

Extending to the upcoming week, colder temperatures are likely to stay around until at least Tuesday with daily highs struggling to make it out of the mid 30’s. Wednesday we should start to see a warm trend again with a chance of temperatures making it into the 50’s! However we could also see rain showers Wednesday as well.
