Right now, it seems some scattered showers and storms may enter the area during the day with the main event being in the evening and into the overnight hours. Stay tuned for forecast updates as this severe weather risk for the weekend approaches. The storm system responsible for this severe weather risk will also result in some lingering showers and thunderstorms throughout the day on Sunday.
