A severe thunderstorm watch was in effect starting from 2:45 pm on April 1st and ending at 8:00pm on April 1st. So far there haven’t been any updates but please keep an eye out for any updates.

Tonight, there is a 90% of thunderstorms (possibly becoming severe) that can result in up to a half an inch of precipitation. Hail and a weak tornado are possible along with damaging winds and heavy downpours.

Temperatures remain in the 80s through the rest of this week before dropping at the beginning of next week. We also expect to see an increase in nightly temperatures for the rest of this week as well. The wind speeds are expected to be around 5 to 10 mph on Thursday and Friday with gusts reaching up to 20 mph on Thursday and 25 mph on Friday. There is a slight chance of rain during the day Thursday along with a slight chance of thunderstorms for Thursday evening. There is a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms on Friday. We expect to see some precipitation over the weekend.
