Nice current day we have with increasingly better days coming ahead. The high-pressure system to the north keeps weather conditions fair and dry, but in Athens we lie near a low-pressure trough that brings some passing clouds. Today, we find ourselves with a high of 84 and mostly sunny. Heading into tonight, we can expect our temperatures to drop into the lower 50s. Going into Friday, it heats up a little more still with beautiful conditions at a high of 87 degrees but later falls into the high 50s in the night. Athens still finds themselves at a D0 Drought where we are abnormally dry. With the increasingly hotter days and clear conditions, we could expect these conditions to possibly worsen heading into next week. Looking far ahead, next weeks weather conditions are seeming to point to a cooldown after a possible slight chance of precipitation on Sunday.
