Forecast Discussion

A cut-off low pressure system passed through Southeast Ohio last night with its associated cold front, which dropped temperature from the pleasant 70s we saw Friday down to what we are seeing now. This low pressure system is slow-moving, and while the heaviest rain is not expected to affect us, we will still see a consistent chance of rainfall through Tuesday. This low is also causing areas of dense cloud cover, and will be the reason why sunshine will be sparse over the next few days.

Following the exit of this low pressure system Wednesday, we’ll see a high pressure system begin to build into the region, this means a warming trend and some nicer weather, but only temporarily as another low pressure system is expected to become a nuisance to us for next weekend as well.
