Today is expected to be mild, starting partly cloudy and then clouds will gather through the day into tonight, where we will see a heightened chance at precipitation, especially beginning tomorrow. Temperatures tonight will be around the upper fifties, and then we’ll see a similar day temperature-wise tomorrow. Though, tomorrow we will have a more persistent chance at rain as the trough will begin to stall out, leaving a weak center of low pressure situated out to the East, and could churn some rain out. This trough will finally slide aside and give way to a much larger trough, so this weather will persist a little while.

Cloudy skies, fall-like temperatures, and a chance at some rain will be the norm as we head into the work week due to this pattern, and we’re not expected to see this trend be shaken off until around midweek, where we could see a flip into a warming trend following Tuesday, which will likely be the most potent day for thunderstorms.
