The strong anticyclone will continue to keep the air temperature high for the next days. Excessive heat warning is in effect until tomorrow night. Also, we have a heat advisory for Friday afternoon. It is important to stay hydrated and avoid being outside for a long time, especially in the sun. The abundance of moisture in the air will give us a chance of rain showers and thunderstorms from today through Saturday. An increase in cloudiness will slightly lower the maximum temperature for the rest of the week. But the air will uncomfortably stay hot and moist.
