A warm front will lift north through our region today as a Low pressure system out in the Central Plains continues to strengthen, putting SE Ohio in the warm sector. Partly cloudy skies will persist throughout the day, but highs will soar into the mid-80s as we receive a surge of warm, moist air out of the south. As the Low continues to approach, chances for scattered rain showers will then return tonight, with greater chances for rain on Thursday and possible thunderstorms developing. The cold front will then swing through on Friday, providing a slight cooldown heading into the weekend.
