Forecast Discussion
On Saturday we will see fair weather with a high pressure system to our north. Throughout the day on Saturday temperatures will be in low 40s with calm wind speeds. On Saturday night we will get lows in the 20s due to no cloud coverage and calm wind speeds. Saturday night a low pressure system will form over the plains area and in the northern part of Texas. On Sunday we will see highs in the 40s again and calm wind speeds. Sunday evening the low pressure system in the plains will decay, but the low in northern Texas has pushed east and developed into a well defined warm and cold front. This system will bring rain to our area Sunday evening and with the temperatures falling during the evening there is a chance of freezing rain. Looking into the future, the low pressure system continues to push eastward on Monday and we will see the chance of snow.
