Forecast Discussion
A potent low pressure system in the northern mid-Atlantic region will keep chances for scattered showers in the forecast tonight, along with milder temperatures as we remain in the warm sector. The rain is expected to dissipate by the morning, with some breaks in the clouds tomorrow allowing for highs to soar into the mid-60s. Another stray shower will be possible Sunday evening and into the beginning of the night with a cold frontal passage. Colder air will continue to filter in overnight Sunday, with temperatures decreasing throughout the day Monday. A rain-snow mix will be possible on Monday, followed by light snow Monday night into Tuesday from the remanence of the system.
