Forecast Discussion
An upper-level trough will remain as one of the more prominent features over the next several days, providing a series of low pressure systems along with colder than average temperatures. A chance for light snow will remain in the forecast through tonight and the beginning of Sunday before a weak influence of a high pressure builds Sunday evening. Little accumulation from this snow is expected throughout SE Ohio. A stronger developing low in the Plains region will bring back rain and snow Monday night into Tuesday, with a better potential to see some snow accumulation. The heaviest snow is expected to fall on Tuesday, with a cold front pushing through that will bring us a blast of Arctic air, bringing bitterly cold temperatures into the forecast on Wednesday and the remainder of the work week.
