Forecast Discussion

Zonal flow will keep our weather fairly quiet through the bulk of the weekend before a weak short-wave trough approaches Sunday night. Temperatures tonight will dip to around freezing, and some weak warm air advection in the lowest levels will allow for highs to approach 50 on Sunday. An approaching low will provide a chance for a stray shower Sunday evening, with chances for rain showers increasing by Monday. Rain is expected to linger into Monday night and the early part of Tuesday before tapering off with a high pressure system briefly settling in.
