High pressure remains in the southeast Ohio region continuing tonight through Sunday morning. A low-pressure system will make its way downward from the north which will bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5 pm but stopping before 9 pm. The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook stating that there are isolated strong to severe thunderstorms.

As the low-pressure system passes through, there is a cold front following with it. Temperatures through the beginning of the new week will be cooler. High pressure will follow the low to bring sunny skies.
