Forecast Discussion

Thanksgiving comes to a close with clear skies gaining more scattered clouds as the night continues. Tomorrow will see thicker cloud cover in the morning hours thinning some in the afternoon, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon. These clouds are attributed to the passing of another cold front, which will keep temperatures into the weekend in the high 40s. Following this, though, pressure will rise significantly, keeping conditions calm.

Friday evening will see a more overcast sky develop overnight. Despite all this cloud cover, precipitation remains unlikely, and clouds will thin again on Saturday to reveal a mostly sunny day. By Sunday, however, another low pressure system is set to move into the area, bringing with it another round of rain by midday Sunday and tapering off by the night. Near the end of this time range of precipitation, some wet snow could mix in. The passage of this cold front will bring in another blast of cold air, starting off next week with very chilly, though relatively clear, conditions.
