Forecast Discussion

A stationary front will meander over the Ohio Valley region tonight, keeping skies mostly cloudy with milder overnight temperatures in the mid-50s. The front will then lift north tomorrow as a Low pressure system out in the Central Plains region begins to strengthen, putting SE Ohio in the warm sector. Partly to mostly cloudy skies will persist through Wednesday, but highs will soar into the mid-80s. As the Low continues to approach, chances for rain showers will then return Wednesday night, with more widespread rain likely on Thursday and possible thunderstorms developing. The cold front will then swing through on Friday, providing a slight cooldown heading into the weekend.
