Forecast Discussion

Dense cloud coverage will continue to dominate the region tonight, with lows dipping into the mid-30s. Strong upper-level winds will keep a weak area of low pressure in the area, leaving a chance for a stray shower in the forecast on Wednesday. Chances for a light drizzle and snow flurries will be possible late Wednesday night, but dry conditions are expected to dominate. High pressure will build in the Mid-Atlantic region again on Thursday, with some breaks in the clouds expected. The high pressure will quickly shift eastwards however, with another area of low pressure bringing back higher chances for showers on Friday and into the beginning of Saturday.
