Forecast Discussion
High pressure shifts to our southwest and provides some weak warm air advection into the region. A low pressure system to our north will also linger around through tomorrow, providing a favorable setup to see some freezing rain. Any precip received however will be fairly light and scattered, and a wintry-mix will remain in the forecast through Wednesday with highs peaking in the mid-30s. A break in the precip is expected Wednesday night, but another developing low in the southern Plains region will bring back chances for a wintry-mix and rain on Thursday and into the beginning of Friday. Another brief break in the precip will occur on Friday night, but a digging upper-level trough will help bring back a wintry-mix over the weekend.
