Forecast Discussion
Cloud coverage will continue to build overnight with an approaching low pressure system out of the Plains region. A surge of warm air from this low pressure system will allow for temperatures to increase overnight, with rain showers entering the region after midnight. Rain showers will persist through most of the day Wednesday, with a transition to snow expected Wednesday night as a cold front pushes through. Snow will linger in the forecast Thursday and Thursday night before finally dissipating. High pressure will help dry us out for the day Friday, but another wave of snow showers will return later in the weekend.
