Forecast Discussion
A weak low pressure system will move through the region this evening, bringing a chance of rain showers and thunderstorms to the forecast region. Following the passage of the storms, there will be an increased chance for early morning fog to start the day on Sunday. By late morning, the majority of the fog will have burned off as an incoming high pressure clears the skies and allows for day time heating. This high pressure system will settle in over the area, allowing for clear skies, light winds and warm temperatures for the next couple of days. Headed into the evening on Monday, a strong low pressure system will advance from the Great Plains, swinging a warm front across the region that will produce rain showers and thunderstorms, some of which could be severe. And these wet and stormy conditions are likely to last for the remainder of the first half of the work week.
