Forecast Discussion

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER
ADVISORY in effect from 4am Saturday to 7am Sunday

Today will be cool and calm as high pressure in the region keeps skies mostly clear and allow for some sun. Starting Saturday, a low pressure system will approach to the south of the area bringing a warm front which is expected to create an accumulation of 1-3 inches during the day. Snow showers will continue into the night, but further accumulation is expected to be around an inch. Sunday will bring upper level ridging to further decrease chances for precipitation. Monday and Tuesday will dominated by an incoming high pressure system which will drastically decrease cloud cover, but also allow for temperatures around and below 20 degrees Monday night.
