Forecast Discussion

Today , a warm front will move over the area causing chances for showers throughout the day and into Sunday. This front is weak which will lead to scattered and short-lived storms. After chances for precipitation die down later Sunday, high pressure will once again begin to build as an upper level ridge gains strength. Labor Day will be hot and humid as this ridge continues to build over the Midwest region. Later in the week, conditions will continue to be hot as high pressure remains and keeps cloud cover down.
