Forecast Discussion

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WATCH in effect from 8pm today until 8pm on Monday.

Today high chances for rain can be expected as the remains of Gordon come into the Ohio Valley. A front stalled to the south of the area will keep moisture flowing into the region as these showers continue. Tonight, showers will become heavy and lead to possible flooding. Sunday will continue to be rainy as the low pressure moves over Ohio. Incoming moisture will continue to fuel heavy showers and precipitation is expected to be greater than an inch. Monday, showers will remain present as an upper-level trough follows Gordon. Tuesday and Wednesday, conditions will finally begin to dry up but remain cloudy as low pressure exits the area.
