Forecast Discussion

High pressure over the area this morning will slowly move eastward as we progress into the afternoon. A shortwave aloft will move through the region this evening into tonight, bringing a weak surface cold front through southeast Ohio overnight tonight. There is the slight possibility of some drizzle across the region later this evening, but it is not expected to be widespread. Warm air advection will dominate on Thursday bringing temperatures near 50 degrees. An upper-level low will bring rain to the region Friday into the weekend, but models vary in how much rain will fall across the region.
