Forecast Discussion

The National Weather Service in Charleston, WV has issued a Flood Watch in effect from 1:00pm Wednesday January 23rd to 10:00am Thursday January 24th.

Today will be cloudy and rainy with relatively high temperatures due to a warm front passing over the area. Rain will continue over the day and into the night where it may turn to snow due to falling temperatures from a cold front. Snow will diminish into the morning hours of Thursday and skies will be cloudy for the remainder of the day. Friday, high pressure will keep the day dry and allow for partly clear skies during the day. Saturday will see the return of cloudy conditions as a new low pressure system comes into the region. Sunday will see yet another chance for snow brought on by the low pressure.
