Forecast Discussion

Tonight, conditions will remain clear as we continue to sit beneath a large upper-level trough and high pressure system. Temperatures will cool off to around the dew point leaving a possibility for morning fog. Tomorrow will be hot again, but will begin to cool off as a cold front approaches and brings chances for showers and storms into the late evening and overnight. Thursday, the cold front will bring scattered showers and storms throughout the day. Friday the cold front will stall due to the post tropical depression Gordon coming in from the Gulf. Showers and storms will become isolated as it does so. Saturday, Gordon will weaken into a surface low and begin to pull the stalled front northward as a warm front. Sunday, the front will pass over with increased chances for precipitation which are expected to continue into early next week.
