Forecast Discussion
A cold front is currently moving through the area, causing showers throughout the evening. The trough producing this front will bring continued unsettled and rainy conditions for the better part of a week. Rain will be enhanced by remnants of Tropical Storm Gordon. As a result of this frontal passage, cooler temperatures will finally move into the area, with highs below 80 starting this weekend and accompanying lows in the mid 60s. A ridge will begin to move in next week, causing temperatures to slowly creep back up, but eventually drying the weather up by midweek.
