Tonight, clouds will persist and winds will be high as the evening continues. Another round of snow showers is likely in the morning hours as a weak cold front moves through the area, though accumulations will be limited to around a dusting or so. A few breaks in the clouds are possible on Sunday, though a blast of arctic air will have arrived following that front, bringing temperatures down to the mid 20s as the high on Sunday. With gusty winds up to 30 mph still prevalent, frostbite is a very real threat, and precautions to bundle up should be taken. Clouds will move in and out during the evening hours, with the winds finally dying down overnight.

On Monday, clouds return as a low pressure system moves eastward much further south of us. A few snow showers are possible during the afternoon into evening, with accumulations up to an inch locally. Temperatures will remain very cold, still lingering in the 20s, but winds will be relatively calm again. Higher pressure will return this week, creating more sunny conditions by the mid-to-late-week. With less clouds, however, that means night temperatures could plummet to the single digits. Clouds will return on Thursday, however, as another chance of snow returns in the upcoming weekend.
