Forecast Discussion
Dry and mostly clear conditions will exist through the remaining evening hours of Sunday as well as into Monday. Between 6-8am Monday morning, slightly favorable fog conditions may allow patchy fog for the river valleys across the region. Quick dispersion of any fog in the morning will give way to mostly sunny skies as the high temperature heats up near 90. Cloud cover and dew points will greatly increase Monday night and into Tuesday as a strengthening surface low and cold front approaches from the WNW. Showers and thunderstorms will begin early Tuesday morning and pursue through the afternoon as the cold front tries to pass early evening. Storms ahead and along the cold front for this time may pose some severity that would include some gusty winds and even a chance for hail development. Some lingering moisture and rain showers will exist through the first part of Wednesday before weak high pressure encounters the area late week.
