Low pressure approaches! Overcast skies tonight will see some spotty showers before a steady rain arrives in the morning hours of Tuesday. This rain, likely beginning around 6 am, will continue on through much of the day, tapering off in the mid-to-late afternoon. Accumulations could total to around an inch as well, so be wary of any hazardous driving conditions during this time. The cold front associated with this rain will have passed through, delivering higher winds with gusts up to 30 mph as well.

Overcast skies still persist through Tuesday evening into Wednesday, with temperatures cooling for the remainder of the week. The gloom will have cleared out on Thursday, but another low pressure system tracking through the gulf will deliver some more moist air into our area to close out the week, resulting in more cloud cover for the start of this weekend.
