Forecast Discussion

Winter Weather Advisory in effect till January 13th at 12 pm

Warm frontal snow is expected today as a low pressure will be south of the region as it moves eastward throughout the day. Models show accumulations to be around 1-3 inches with some spots up to 4 inches of snow. Expected less snow to the south as warm air and drier air will reduce snow amounts. Snowfall will be moderate to heavy for the day on Saturday with snow lightning down Saturday night and into the day on Sunday. After the snow ends, high pressure will keep the region dry with cold temperatures sticking around for the start of the week.
