Forecast Discussion

The National Weather Service in Charleston WV has issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 11pm Saturday January 19th to 9am Sunday January 20th.

Snow showers are possible for the morning hours today as the low pressure system that caused all the winter weather for the state of Ohio moves off to the east today. With the cold front passage from last night temperatures will decrease throughout the day today as the coldest air of the winter season will move into Southeast Ohio. Winds will also be on the strong side today, which also means wind chills could reach below zero by late tonight as lows will be in the single digits to almost zero. Cold air stays for the day on Monday with highs struggling to reach the 20’s. Monday night goes back to single digit lows with mostly clear skies. Warmer air comes back to the region on Tuesday with rain back in the forecast late Tuesday night and into the day on Wednesday.
