Forecast Discussion
A wind chill advisory is in effect until 1pm Thursday, January 31st
After a rather chilly start for the region today skies will be mostly clear as high pressure will remain over the region with highs staying in the upper teens. Thursday night will be our last cold night as clouds will increase with a approaching low pressure system. The warm front from the low pressure system will move over the area on Friday. With temperatures being right around freezing snow will still be likely with accumulations of a inch definitely possible. The accumulated snow will not stick around for long as a warm up is expected over the weekend into next week. It’s hard to believe, but temperatures may reach 60 degrees by Sunday afternoon with dry conditions. Stay warm today and enjoy the warm up coming up!
