High pressure over the Virginia’s will keep the region dry once again today. Warm air advection will make temperatures above average across the region with highs around 50 degrees today. Clouds will increase later on in the day as a deepening low pressure system will inch closer to the region. By Thursday, the rain chances will increase especially later on in the day on Thursday. These rain chances will stick around for the beginning of the weekend and by Friday temperatures will be in the lower 40’s. On Saturday, an upper level ridge will move in drying the region out for the remainder of the weekend.
