Forecast Discussion
Stormy conditions continue as remnants of Laura move into the region this evening. The large amounts of tropical moisture will bring heavy cloud cover and even heavier rainfall, with thunderstorms likely. The main threat so far is flash flooding due to excessive rainfall, but some storms could even carry damaging winds. These conditions will continue through into Saturday evening until things clear up Sunday. Highs may dip from the normal mid/lower 80s into the upper 70s after the system’s passage. Rain may return early next week due to the passage of a weak front.
