Cold, cloudy, and windy conditions are in store for us today as a strong cold front has pushed through the region. Very light snow and rain showers can be expected as the back end of the low pressure system continues to move out. The high temperature today will stay in the high 30s as persistent cloud cover will inhibit any further heating. Clouds will continue into tonight as the winds start to decrease in intensity. Peak winds will only reach around 10 mph tonight while the low temperature will hang around the mid 20s. Some peaks of sunshine through patchy cloud cover can be expected on Saturday with highs around 40 and lows in the mid 20s Saturday night.

Moving into the extended forecast, another storm system is expected to move through Sunday. At the moment, it is unclear whether southeast Ohio will mostly get rain or snow, but expect snow in the morning, transitioning to rain in the afternoon as temperatures reach near 40. After the system moves out, more cloudy weather is in store for us with a high near 40 again on Monday. Long needed sun can expect to return by mid-week next week.
