The low pressure system that brought us heavy rain last night will continue to affect our area today, though a majority of the heavy precip has left our area. With the system slowing down near us we can expect rain showers throughout today, tonight, and into tomorrow. These should be lighter but isolated instances of heavier rain are possible. Overall about an inch is expected over our area once the system moves out Saturday night, but an upwards of 2″ is possible. Once Sunday rolls around and the low has cleared our area we’ll see higher pressure build back in with slight clearing expected. Temps will drop into the 50s come early next week, with overnight lows in the 40s.
