High-pressure will be a dominating feature for the forecast and much of next week, though a stationary front could appear by Monday. With a prominent ridge aloft, the forecasted heating trend is expected to continue through next week. While not a dramatic difference between this week and last week, the drought in Ohio has worsened primarily in northeastern Ohio. Thankfully, much of southeastern Ohio was spared from worsening drought conditions, but with the lack of substantial rain, it’s expected to only worsen for the foreseeable future.
