Forecast Discussion

A chilly couple of mornings are in store for us in southeast Ohio after a cold front moved through during the weekend and clear skies at night are allowing all the heat to radiate away. Today, skies are expected to stay mostly sunny with temperatures only climbing to the low 50s with moderate winds out of the WNW. Tonight, a freeze watch is in effect as clear skies and calm winds will drop temperatures to the high 20s, allowing for some frost to form. Make sure your plants are prepared! Another warming trend starts Tuesday with sunny skies, moderate winds, and temperatures up into the low 60s. Tuesday night will be cloudier with a chance of an isolated light rain shower during the late overnight hours. Winds will be calm and the low will be near 40.

The extended forecast continues to warm slightly each day as mostly sunny skies are expected to remind until Friday. Temperatures will be in the low and mid 60s Wednesday through Friday with our next chance being on Friday
