Forecast Discussion

The trough above us moves off to the east, reducing our chances for precipitation today. A strong cold front will brush just northeast of our area tomorrow afternoon, leaving us at a marginal risk of storms with damaging winds as it lingers near the area into the evening. However, the chances are low as the front will destabilize the further south it pushes towards us. Highs could climb up into the 90s tomorrow paired with high humidity making for a muggy midweek. A shortwave trough paired with possible remnants from Laura could lead to scattered storms closing out the work week.
