Mostly cloudy skies seems to be the story of southeast Ohio for the past few days and the next upcoming days. Some peaks of sunshine will be seen, but for the most part, mostly cloudy skies are expected today and tonight with a high in the mid-40s and a low in the mid-20s. Tuesday will see more sun which will allow temperatures to warm up into the high 40s. Tuesday night, clouds will once again increase leaving lows near 30.

Into our extended forecast, a very robust low-pressure system is expected to move through starting Wednesday. At the front end of the system, some wintry precipitations could be seen Wednesday morning, but as a strong warm front pushes through, it will transition to a steady rain during the day Wednesday until Thursday night. The warm front will bring warmer temperatures with highs near 50 and lows in the mid 30s until the cold front clears through Friday when temperatures will start to decrease again.
