Zonal flow will dominate today and tomorrow as broad high-pressure fills in. Today is expected to be quite windy as winds from the west will generally be between 5-10 mph with gusts up to 15-20 mph. Frigid and cloudier conditions unfortunately will persist this week, and the chance for snow flurries could return much of Wednesday. By this time a broad trough will pass over us Wednesday night into Thursday morning bringing us the chance for flurries. Otherwise, calmer conditions should be expected for the remainder of the week, albeit quite chilly.
